| Mr. Marshall is a Senior Partner and co-founder of the Red Oak Group. He has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing operations, engineering, new product development, quality and information technology. Mr. Marshall's background is in both industry and consulting. Prior to founding the Red Oak Group, Mr. Marshall was with SiGMA Consulting and Nextera Enterprises. As a senior member of the manufacturing practice at SiGMA and Nextera he led a number of major assignments across a wide array of industries, these included Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer Products and the Electronic industries. |
Prior to joining SiGMA, Mr. Marshall spent 14 years with Digital Equipment Corporation serving a number of sales, operations, manufacturing engineering and quality management positions -- gaining significant experience in design, product development and manufacturing operations.
At TiteFlex, Mr. Marshall was responsible for the design, qualification and pilot production. His designs were utilized in most of the major programs of that era - the Space Shuttle, F-16, F-14, and B-1. In this position he also introduced computerized analysis to design and laboratory evaluations, and improved standardized manufacturing processes.
Mr. Marshall received his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and his MBA from Western New England College. He also has many years of continuing education and training focused on Design for Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control and Organizational Change Management. David has also served as both a chairperson and a speaker at numerous Society of Manufacturing Engineers technical workshops and forums.
