Martin Lim
Founder of Red Oak Capital Pte Ltd

Red Oak Capital was founded by Martin Lim when he left as Managing Director of Schroders Wealth Management. Prior to Schroders, he worked at Standard Chartered Private Bank since 2015, where he was Executive Director and Head of the Malaysia Team. He held similar roles at UBS, Barclays Private Bank and UOB. Martin started his banking career in OCBC and has over 20 years experience in the industry. He founded the company with the aim of leveraging his knowledge and expertise in financial markets to provide customized, tailored solutions to his extensive clientele. Heading a team of investment advisors and experts, they seek to deliver world class results with a personalized touch to each client.

Together with his team, they have in total more than 70 years of experience in the financial industry. Martin Lim has a BSc from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the University of Western Australia.

Red Oak Capital Pte Ltd (Company Reg. No. 201932554D) holds a Capital Markets License (License No. CMS100925) issued by Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Christien New is a distinguished energy entrepreneur renowned for his multi-billion-dollar power plants, which have transformed the energy landscape across Southeast Asia, providing reliable electricity to millions of users. In 2002, with a diverse cultural heritage and a profound passion for innovation, he founded Bintan Power Plant Group (PTBPP), which he has developed into a leading energy provider powering millions of homes and businesses. Today, PTBPP operates 9 power plants and is expanding through the establishment of industrial parks, delivering reliable electricity to millions and driving regional progress.

Eric Chong
Managing Director of Red Oak Capital Pte Ltd

Eric Chong is a highly accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange, investment advisory, and private banking across Asia. With a strong track record at firms such as Invest Partners Capital Group, Thirdrock Capital, Citi Private Bank, and Standard Chartered, Eric has consistently advised high-net-worth clients in Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.

He is known for his deep expertise in FX, FX options, technical analysis, and client portfolio strategies. Throughout his career, Eric has led client education initiatives, contributed to market research. His ability to merge market insights with client needs has made him a trusted advisor in wealth management.

Eric holds a Master’s in Financial Engineering from National University of Singapore, a Master’s in Information Studies from Nanyang Technological University, and a Bachelor’s in Banking and Finance from the University of London.

Noel Lee
Managing Director of Red Oak Capital Pte Ltd

Noel Lee is a results-oriented private banker and seasoned relationship manager, known for building strong, long-term relationships with clients across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. With extensive experience at leading financial institutions including UBS, Nomura, Standard Chartered, Citibank, and UOB, he provides tailored investment advice to help clients grow and manage their wealth.

His strength in financial market analysis, using tools such as MACD, RSI, wave counts, and chart patterns, enables him to deliver timely and effective advice to both individual and corporate clients.

Noel holds a Bachelor of Commerce, with majors in Economics and Marketing, from the University of Sydney. He previously studied at the University of New South Wales.

Marx Yu

Marx Yu is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in wealth management, client advisory, and portfolio development. As Director at Red Oak Capital, he helps clients grow and manage their assets through tailored investment strategies and ongoing portfolio reviews.

With past roles at UOB, DBS, and Citibank, Marx has worked closely with high-net-worth clients, offering personalized financial solutions across a wide range of products. His earlier experience spans corporate sales, remittance, and regional trading, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both retail and business banking.

With academic qualifications in Economics and Finance from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Marx also holds multiple CMFAS certifications.

Sucheera Siasamarn
Executive Director of Red Oak Capital Pte Ltd

Sucheera Siasamarn is an experienced business leader with a strong background in client relationship management, supply chain operations, and project execution across Southeast Asia. Currently serving as Executive Director at Red Oak Capital, she manages relationships with Thai clients both in Singapore and abroad, while driving business development in the region.

Previously, Sucheera spent nearly 14 years at Procter & Gamble, where she held various leadership roles in customer service, supply chain planning, and initiative operations across Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Sucheera is Thai, based in Singapore, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Silpakorn University. She is fluent in Thai and proficient in English, with hands-on experience in SAP, OMP+, and supply chain systems.

Grace Leong

Grace Leong is a highly experienced client service and relationship management professional in the private banking and financial services sector. She has over two decades of experience across top institutions like UOB, OCBC, Standard Chartered, and Schroders Singapore.

Known for her strong interpersonal skills and multilingual abilities, Grace works closely with client advisors to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with regulatory standards across multiple booking centres.

Grace holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Management from the University of Northumbria, She also earned a Diploma in Business Administration from Thames Business School, Singapore.
